Deleting your account and your data
Last reviewed August 9, 2026.
Cuban Dominoes does not ask you to sign up. There is no email address and no password. What exists is an anonymous player id, created by our server the first time you use an online feature, so that your seat at a table stays yours. This page explains how to have it deleted, and what you can delete yourself immediately.
What you can delete yourself, right now
Everything the game keeps about you personally is on your own device, and it goes when you remove it:
- iPhone or Android: delete the app. That removes your name, settings, record, streaks, saved match and the app's local identifier. Nothing of it is on our servers.
- Desktop browser: clear site data for playcubandomino.com in your browser settings. Same effect.
If you have never used Play With Friends, that is genuinely everything — solo play never contacts our servers at all, so there is no account to delete and nothing further to do.
Deleting your online account
If you have played at a private table, an anonymous account exists on our server. To have it and everything attached to it deleted:
- Write to [email protected] with the subject Account deletion request.
- Include your player id. Find it in the game under Settings, where it is shown at the bottom of the screen, and copy it exactly.
- We delete the account and confirm by reply, within 30 days and normally within a few days.
Why we have to ask for the id. The account is anonymous — we hold no email address, no name and no phone number that could identify it. Without the player id there is no way for us to tell which account is yours, and we will not delete someone else's by guessing. If you have lost access to the device and cannot read the id, write to us anyway and say so; there is generally nothing left that can be tied to you, and we will explain what that means in your case.
What deletion removes
- Your anonymous account on our authentication service.
- Your membership of any table, and the display name you used at it.
- Any table you were the last member of. Tables are in any case deleted automatically once closed, and within 24 hours of their last activity, so in practice there is rarely a live table to remove by the time a request arrives.
Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery and no backup we can restore you from — the same property that makes the account private makes it unrecoverable.
What deletion does not remove
- Anything on your own device. Delete the app or clear the site's data, as above; we cannot reach it.
- Our hosting provider's operational logs, which are technical records of connections rather than a profile of you, and which age out on that provider's own schedule.
- Correspondence you have sent us, where we need to keep it to answer a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute.
